The 1st Annual Key to Independence Raffle grand prize event will take place at
Phantom Harley in Manteno on July 29, 2017. 

We will be selling raffle tickets from May 1st until noon on July 21st, 2017.
Ten finalists will then be drawn to have a chance to pick out one of the ten keys that will possible turn the Harley engine on!

Only 1000 tickets will be sold at $100 each.

On July 29, 2017 there will be the “Key to Independence giveaway”. Each finalist will be invited to the party at Phantom Harley in Manteno where they will chose a key out of a bag. One by one they will try their key until it turns the engine over!
The finalist who’s key turns the engine wins a
2017 Street Glide Special valued at $28,500.00.

The purposes of the raffle:
1.  To raise community awareness of the importance of the Independent Living philosophy and Options CIL’s mission.

2.  To raise much needed funds to continue to provide valuable programs and services to people with all forms of disability that live in Kankakee and Iroquois counties.

Options CIL is a non-residential, 501 (c) 3 not-for-profit, community-based, consumer-controlled organization funded by annual membership contributions, grants, and donations. Through our services of information and referral, peer support, reintegration, personal assistance program, ramp program, youth transition program, vision service programs and advocacy. Options assists persons with disabilities to have control over their lives and to be able to choose how and where to live. Through our efforts, we have improved access to independent living services to previously underserved populations. However, in this area, there are an estimated 27,000 people with disabilities. While many of these are living the lives of their choosing, many more are not. There is much work to be done by Options and you can help.
100% of the net proceeds raised from this event stays in our community to help all people with all forms of disability.

2017 Options Raffle Rules
RULES AND REGULATIONS

  1. The Prizes
    Grand Prize packages total over $30,000.00 in value, with Grand Prize of “Winner’s choice of a 2017 Street Glide or motorcycles from Phantom Harley Davidson, Manteno Illinois, totaling $28,500.00 or less M.S.R.P., includes factory incentives. Taxes, licenses and title are the responsibility of the winner.”

Who is Eligible? 
    For Grand Prize: Any person who is 18 years of age or older, who has purchased a valid raffle ticket from Options Center for Independent Living prior to or on July 21, 2017.
    For All other Grand Prizes: Any person who is 18 years or older, who has purchased a valid raffle ticket from Options CIL prior to or on July 21, 2017.
  3. How does the drawing work?
    A maximum of 1,000 tickets will be sold at exactly $100.00 each with the drawing to be held on July 29, 2017 at the Phantom Harley Davidson Dealership, 291 N Cypress Dr, Manteno, IL, where 10 finalists will each be issued a key through random selection. Only 1 key will start the motorcycle to win! Finalist need not be present to win. Finalists may designate a person 18 years or older to serve as a proxy. If a proxy is not designated one will be appointed for them.
    ALL CHECKS MUST BE MADE TO Options CIL. Options CIL RESERVEs THE RIGHT TO DETERMINE THE VALIDITY OF THE ENTRIES. DEADLINE FOR ALL ENTRIES IS July 21, 2017 AT 4:00 PM.
  4. Identification and Responsibilities:

    Ability to provide a valid US identification prior to taking delivery of any prize will be required of the winning raffle ticket holders. Winners are responsible for all taxes, if applicable.  Winners need not be present during the event where finalists try their keys. All prizes must be claimed within 30 days of the date of the actual event. Winners will be notified of such either in person or in writing no later than 30 days after the event (July 29, 2017).  Notification of winnings will be in any of the following ways:  (1) actual delivery of the notice into the hands of the party entitled to receive it; (2) delivery by a nationally recognized overnight delivery service; (3) mailing of the notice in the United States Postal Service mail, certified mail, return receipt requested; or (4) contact via telephone number provided with purchase of ticket.
  5. Smith, Koelling, Dykstra & Ohm, P.C., Certified Public Accountants and Advisors, an independent accounting firm, will verify and supervise the entries and drawings.
  6. Requirements: 
    The holder of the winning raffle ticket for the Grand Prize shall be responsible for all retailers’ occupation and other taxes on the sale of the vehicle and for all title and transfer fees.  Promptly after the drawing date, the holder of the winning key shall be required to appear at the office of Phantom Harley Davidson, Manteno Illinois, of their choice for the purpose of paying such taxes and fees and picking up the vehicle(s).  All Secondary Prize winners will be required to retrieve the prizes or prize certificates from the Options CIL office located at 22 Heritage Drive, Suite 107, Bourbonnais, Illinois within 30 days of the actual drawing and by appointment only.  The holder of the winning key will be required to pay related Federal, State and local taxes as required by law. The winning key holder must have purchased at least one raffle ticket in full prior to the drawing to be held on July 21, 2017. The holder of the winning key grants Options CIL and Phantom Harley Davidson the use of his/her name and photograph in all communication and publicity materials.

  8. A minimum of 500 tickets must be sold in order for the motorcycle to be the grand prize. If less than 500 tickets are sold a 50/50 split the pot will be conducted.
