Peer support and mentoring are important to Options. As one of five core services we provide, peer support and mentoring give persons with disabilities the opportunity to meet with other persons with a similar disability or life experience. Peer counselors provide positive role modeling, exhibit strong coping and problem-solving skills, and share the benefit of their knowledge about community resources. If you wish to be placed on the mailing list for meetings, please call (815) 936-0100 or TTY (815) 936-0132 and specify which peer support meeting you would like to be involved in.
