CROSS DISABILITY PEER SUPPORT GROUPS
Meetings for Cross Disability Peer Support groups are held in both Kankakee County and Iroquois County offices. They are open to anyone regardless of their age or disability. This is a great way to meet new people, share personal experiences, learn about new things, and to enjoy yourself! If you are interested in attending, please contact Options CIL in Kankakee County at (815) 936-0100 or in Iroquois County at (815) 432-1332.
The Vision Information Group is open to individuals with low vision and individuals who are blind. A program is provided, assistive devices are demonstrated and there is a time for sharing, questions and comments. For the 2016 and 2017 meeting schedule, please call Options CIL at (815) 936-0100 and select option 2 for hearing and vision services to speak with Olivia, Vision Service Advocate.
This monthly support group is for youth between the ages of 16 and 23 who have disabilities. This is a great way to meet new people, prepare for your future, and to HAVE FUN! If you are interested in joining, please contact Options CIL at (815) 936-0100 and ask for Heather.
