Five Core Services

Information and Referral
Provides information about disability issues and referral to other agencies, which provide services to people with disabilities.

Independent Living Skills Training
Provides individual instruction and training in life skills based on goals each consumer sets for themselves.

Peer Support and Mentoring
Provides group meetings that involve sharing, problem solving, exchanging information amongst individuals with disabilities who may share similar life experiences.
Peer mentors are available upon request to share their knowledge and provide positive role modeling.

Advocacy
Provides individual advocacy by coaching and supporting our consumers who want to advocate for themselves.
Provides system advocacy by promoting positive changes at local, state and federal levels.

Transition Services
Facilitates the transition from nursing facilities into home and community-based settings.
Facilitates youth with disabilities to navigate the transition into all aspects of adult life.

Options CIL holds the Candid Gold Transparency Seal and a Charity Navigator Three-Star rating — the standards funders and donor-advised fund sponsors check before they give.
